Deliverance Ministry and Politics

Which is more important, politics or deliverance ministry? Many of us were angered and disappointed by the silence of pastors during the tyrannical COVID lockdowns and the political coup of the left. Many of us are still upset today about the silence of pastors regarding the unjust treatment of J6 prisoners. Many pastors want to play church and ignore the war; others fight to protect them. In many cases, this is unfortunately true. But the true Church is not only engaged in the war; she is on the frontline.

“Jesus is King” is the Gospel and a dramatic political claim. The Church is not a-political. The Church is the greatest threat to the kingdom of darkness, our political enemy.

The world and many carnally minded Christians make the opposite mistake from the negligent, weak-kneed pastors. Many think the problem is “those people,” and the solution is “arrest, punish, and kill them.” Many people have not yet learned that “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12 NASB

Deliverance ministry is not a side item or a distraction from the war for righteousness. Deliverance ministry is a direct confrontation with the enemy. When we cast out demons, we evict the prince of darkness from his most effective and destructive hiding place in the most precious and valuable part of God’s creation: the human soul. How can we expect to get the lies, corruption, sensuality, greed, murder, coldness, injustice, etc., out of Washington if we can't even get it out of ourselves and our neighbors? Many of us swing toy swords at the head of dragons miles above us, and we ignore the loaded handgun God gave us to defeat the thief in our home.

To help your country become great again, you must begin in your own house. God defines greatness. If we take Washington but do not submit ourselves to Christ, we will only trade tyranny for tyranny. To defeat tyranny, we must wage war on the devil. And we must begin with the devils we've allowed into our lives.

If you want to wage war against evil, God has provided the means for victory through the blood and the resurrection of Jesus. Wage war against the devil’s work in your life and Make America Great Again.
