The year before the first Thanksgiving, the Pilgrims ate only five kernels of corn a day and were quickly dying. The Pilgrims' survival, some of the early European settlers to successfully colonize the "New World," is an absolute miracle. The Pilgrim's existence was regularly hanging by a thread. Henry Leissing, a former Catholic priest, constitutional lawyer, and avid history student, joined me in the studio to share some of the miracles experienced by the Pilgrims.
