The famous Baptist hymnist, Fanny Crosby, wrote a hymn titled, "Rescue the Perishing" based on the text of Proverbs 24:11 which says, "Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter" (ESV). This is a verse that the Center for Bio Ethical Reform takes very seriously as they apply it to the movement that is seeking to end abortion. The Center for Bio Ethical Reform (CBR) has started a campaign called the "Genocide Awareness Project (GAP) which uses the graphic images of abortions to expose what they believe to be a current genocide which is taking place in the United States and throughout the Western world. CBR uses these graphic images next to quotations and images of previous genocides and demonstrates how the same arguments are being used to justify abortion as have been used justify genocides in the past. Recently, I participated in a couple of these GAP events along with my cousin Jamin and our friend Dominic. In this week's podcast, the three of us gathered together to unpack what we saw, heard and experienced. This is a gripping and vital topic for our modern Western world and CBR is right in the middle of the fire. Share our experience of being in the line of fire on this week's podcast.
